The ground-breaking ceremony of Haimei International (Suzhou) Intelligent Manufacturing R&D Community was successfully held in Weitang and witnessed by deputy secretary-general Jian-Ping Zeng of the National manufacturing & infrastructure strategy advisory committee, Deputy head Yong-Qing Zhang of Xiangcheng district, district party committee standing committee member and deputy warden Chun-Hua Pan, deputy general manager Mr. Zhu of Shanghai Science Innovation Investment Group, commissioner He Ying of Shanghai Pudong District of IP promotion department, vice secretary of party committee of Shanghai Pudong Science Innovation Invesetment Group Wei-Gang Wang, deputy general manager of Shanghai Zhangjiang group Chun-Qian Bao, Xiangcheng district deputy director Zhu Xiaohai, Weitang government director Wang Yulai, and chairman of Shanghai Haimei Holdings Mr Lu Funan.

Project brief:

Haimei International (Suzhou) Intelligent Manufacturing R&D Community is located in Weitang Town, Xiangcheng District. Phase I covers an area of 48.8 mu, which is the key project of Suzhou city in 2019. Focusing on intelligent manufacturing and providing support services which includes financial services, data technology support and management service. The park will strive to become an intelligent R&D hub in the Yangtze River Delta region where talents, innovative ideas and projects collide and fuse. The project has obtained planning permission.

After completion, the park will be operated with the main management model of the following steps: "research and development, incubate, accelerate, industrialize, IPO” . The main industries in the park will be advanced semiconductors, integrated circuits, new generation of IT, high-end equipment manufacturing, industrial robotics, key components of smart vehicles, advanced material and other strategic emerging industries and high value-added services.
